I'm afraid I have not been debriefed on anything since I gave Death the Kid the device that Miss Tali made to scan for nightmare energy. I gave him the location of the point of interest I had been studying as well as the readings over the past several months. Aside from that, I have been trying to gather all of my research on the nightmare energy that I promised to relay to Kid.
I see. Well, where to begin with but the mountain itself? We found records and data stored in a multitude of super computers that were connected to a grand computer of a different quality. The peripheral computers seemed to carry the onerous duty of compiling information on dream energy transmittance rate dating up to hundreds of years ago. The main computer could not be used with any decryption software. However, the hardware structure suggested that central computer was directly monitoring, if not powered by or attached, to a sphere of contained but high-reading dream energy. This sphere appeared to be a volatile mix of both dream and nightmare energy and was contained by a shell of pure transparent dream energy. Unfortunately Nocturne attacked right then and there, and the only thing we could salvage were the files and data from the peripheral computers. I'll share with you what those findings were in a moment. Anyway, the cave leading to this laboratory collapsed, and to this date we do not know if any of the other devices were harmed. I do have reason to believe that Nocturne did not obtain that sphere of energy-- namely that Nocturne continued with their intrusive activities with us.

Taking into account that total dream energy is a heterogeneous mixture of nightmare energy and dream energy, one would have thought that original equation is the most accurate. Classically, it has served the dream experts of Hypnosia for quite some time with a fair degree of accuracy. The rate at which it is all formed is as this: [ KH=k-1/K1. ] But there is some fault to it...

Have you taken Hypnosia's dream energy into account? I gather that the populace's energy is the easiest to gather, yet the planet itself gives off energy of both types from what my research has shown. Would that help or hinder your function here, out of curiosity...?

Yes, this does. The background energy of Hynosia is always taken into account as the dream energy "noise". It shifts every ten days, and it would be unrealistic to think that it came from nowhere at all or from the previous native population. The free energy of activation is what dictates its flow to proceed to mix or to shift from one type of energy to another. That is this side of the equation, which nightmare energy and dream energy from this world mixes before any foreign energy is taken added into this dynamic.
I hear you've been having some problems lately with REM. I might be able to give you some information about them and tell you what they're really up to.
